The Revenue Cloud Migration Tool simplifies the process of moving your data from Salesforce CPQ to RLM. To ensure a smooth transition, please follow these steps:

• 1. Install the Migration Package

  Navigate to the "Installing the Package" subtab to your left and follow the instructions to install the necessary package in your Salesforce org.

• 2. Data Preparation

  Complete the data preparation steps outlined in the "Data Preparation" subtab, also to your left. These steps are crucial and must be performed in the org that will serve as the source of your CPQ data.

• 3. Connect Source and Target Orgs

  On the "Orgs" page, connect both your source org (containing the CPQ data) and the target org(s) where you want to import the transformed data.

• 4. Export CPQ Data

  Follow the order provided by the app to export your CPQ data. The objects are categorized under each tab on the Export, Transform, and Reimport pages. Please note that you must export all objects on the Export page before proceeding to the transformation step, as some transformations rely on multiple data sources. The exported data is securely stored in AWS (S3) and will be retrieved during the transformation processes.

• 5. Transform Data

  Once all data is exported, proceed to the Transform tab to begin transforming your data. The transformation process is handled by Mulesoft, ensuring efficient and reliable data manipulation.

• 6. Reimport Data

  After the data transformation is complete, navigate to the Reimport tab to import the transformed data into your target org(s). This process is also managed by Mulesoft.

• 7. Validate Data

  Finally, validate the imported data in your target org(s) to ensure accuracy and completeness.
